Tamil man, returned from overseas, found murdered

A Tamil man, believed to have returned home recently from overseas, has been found murdered at Punnalaikattuwan.

His body was found at a tobacco cultivation near a high security zone yesterday (Apr. 17).

A passport discovered near the body points to the deceased being 42-year-old Chaithyalingam Selvaganeshan of Urumpirai North.

Authorities are investigating to find out the perpetrators of the crime.
